This marks the completion of Japan's first incubation base that combines a manufacturing space with an exhibition hall, where local manufacturing ventures can gather.

We are pleased to announce that a press conference and tour will be held on June 3, 2012.

Through the seed discovery and venture development of more than 1,200 teams to date, RIVERNESS and GLOKA LINK have faced a variety of challenges faced by ventures. Many manufacturing ventures have long development periods and struggle to increase staff and secure facilities and space to accommodate development in the absence of sales growth. To solve this problem, we launched the "Center of Garage" concept, an incubation facility exclusively for manufacturing ventures, in May 2017, and in October of the same yearTokyo Incubation Facility Operation Plan Approval ProjectThe first phase of construction began with the adoption of the new project, and the second floor was pre-opened in April 2018.

In May 2018, to further accelerate venture support, Glocalink and LivernessSuper Factory Grouptogether withMinistry of Economy, Trade and Industry Startup Factory Construction ProjectIn addition to eight private rooms, machine tools, and work space on the first floor, a new attempt was made to create a "Garage Museum," an exhibition space for future emergence that displays the products of manufacturing ventures. The grand opening was held after about two years of planning.

In Japan, there are many ventures based on research themes that are unique to each region, and it is easier to focus on development because it is easier to secure a location and fixed costs such as rent are lower than in urban areas. On the other hand, for mass production and sales partnerships, there is a high need to travel to urban areas where decision-making authority is concentrated, and the time cost and physical hurdles make it difficult to make progress in negotiations. The Center of Garage, which includes a garage museum, aims to play a role in resolving this issue.

The June 3, 2019 press conference is a regional manufacturing venture of the museum's exhibiting companies, theMirai Machinery Co.(Kagawa Prefecture),Jinki-Industry Corporation(Shiga Prefecture),4D Sensor Inc.(Wakayama Prefecture) will take the stage, and a pitch event will be held on the theme of "how to collaborate according to growth phases" from R&D to prototyping through town factory collaboration, mass production with large companies, etc. Please come and join us.
