GLOKA LINK, Inc. will hold a seminar for R&D ventures, "Key Points for IPO (Initial Public Offering) Preparation," on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in collaboration with Liverness Corporation and Real Tech Fund.
In order for R&D ventures to effectively raise funds and grow, it is important to develop business plans and strategies with a future IPO (initial public offering) in mind.
But when exactly should we start thinking about this and what points should we keep in mind?
In this seminar, in addition to Mr. Konosuke Okamoto of SMBC Nikko Securities Inc. who has supported many IPOs (initial public offerings) of R&D ventures, speakers will include Mr. Ui of aba Corporation, Mr. Hajime Yamaya of Realtech Holdings Corporation, Mr. Osaka of Glocalink Corporation, and others. The speakers will present key points based on actual examples of venture growth, fundraising, and IPO (Initial Public Offering) preparation.

Based on his experience as a caregiver for his grandmother who suffered from depression when he was in junior high school, he started his career in robot development to support caregivers with the desire to "reduce the burden on the caregiver side. After witnessing the horrific conditions at a special nursing home where the caregivers had to assist the elderly with excretion, he commercialized the "excretion sensor Helppad," which detects excretion using an odor sensor. The product aims to reduce the burden on caregivers by letting them know when a person has defecated without having to open a diaper.
