Seminar for R&D Ventures "Basic Insurance Utilization: The Keys" (Call for Participants)

GLOKA LINK, Inc. will co-host a seminar for R&D ventures, "Insurance Utilization: The Basic 'Keys'" on March 23, 2022 (Wednesday), in cooperation with LIVERNESS Corporation and Realtech Holdings Corporation.

There are many risks surrounding a company, including business environment risks, disaster/accident risks, business negligence risks, and information management risks. Appropriate risk management is necessary not only to understand what kind of risks are involved in corporate management.

In this seminar, Mr. Yoshinori Sakurai of Sompo Japan Partners, Inc., who has a lot of experience in introducing insurance for risk by R&D ventures, as well as Mr. Taro Kinoshita of Real Tech Holdings, Inc. will be invited as speakers, and Mr. Kazuhiro Hasegawa of Liverness, Inc. will moderate the seminar. Mr. Kazuhiro Hasegawa of RIVANES Corporation will moderate the session and present the key points for understanding risks and how to respond to them.

Yoshinori Sakurai
Manager, Head Office Sales Department, Sompo Japan Partners, Inc.

Born in 1969. Born in Tokyo. Since joining Sompo Japan, he has been consistently engaged in sales to corporations. He has experienced a wide range of companies from listed companies to start-ups, regardless of size, and has been in his current position since April 2019.
He proposes insurance policies that match the needs and challenges of each client's business by carefully listening to their needs and challenges. Currently, he is in charge of insurance proposals for start-up companies.

 


Taro Kinoshita
Growth Manager, Realtech Holdings, Inc.

After completing a master's degree in Applied Chemistry at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, he worked at Sumitomo Chemical as a researcher, developing organic-inorganic nanocomposite materials for electronics and materials for universal design. In 2011, he became a member of the Polymer Materials Division Committee of the Japan Society of Polymer Science and Technology. As a specially appointed new business manager, he was involved in the development of new materials for medical use, and was in charge of the development of materials for medical containers in collaboration with equipment manufacturers, and the business planning and execution of materials for regenerative medicine. He was also in charge of overseas sales of functional resins in the Southeast Asia region as a concurrently assigned division.
 He joined the Real Tech Fund in 2017. He is a board member of ANSeeN, which develops next-generation X-ray sensors that reduce radiation dose to 1/1000, AMI, which develops a super stethoscope that automatically assists in the diagnosis of cardiac diseases by analyzing heart sounds and electrocardiograms, and Future Machine, which develops cleaning robots for solar panels and aims to solve the world's energy problems. In 2019, he will promote the introduction of Patetn Booster, a hands-on support for intellectual property, and work on creating mechanisms for social implementation of technology.

 


Kazuhiro Hasegawa
Executive Officer CKO, Liverness Corporation

He holds a master's degree in engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan University. He joined RIVERNESS in his first year of master's degree and later became the first new employee of RIVERNESS. He launched the Human Resource Development Division and became an executive officer in 2012, leading the launch of the TECHPLANTER business and real-tech fund, building case studies of collaboration between startups and local factories, opening the "Center of Garage" incubation facility, and supporting new business creation for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Concurrently, he is Executive Vice President of Realtech Holdings, Director of Glocalink Corporation, and Director of NESTiPLAB Corporation.
