Chalenergy Corporation has started operation of a 10kw testing machine.
Charenergy Corporation, supported by Glocalink Corporation, started a demonstration test of a 10kW test model of its next-generation vertical-axis Magnus wind turbine generator, which can generate stable power even under typhoon-like conditions, in Ishigaki City, Okinawa Prefecture, on August 3, 2011.

■About Vertical Axis Magnus Wind Turbines
This vertical-axis wind turbine generator generates electricity by using the "magnus force" generated when a rotating cylinder catches the wind to turn the wind turbine instead of a propeller. By controlling the number of revolutions of the cylinder, it is possible to suppress the wind turbine from running out of control, thus ensuring stable power generation not only during normal times, but also during strong winds such as typhoons.
Since 2012, GLOKA LINK has been investing in and fostering the development of prototypes for companies that are the target of the TECH PLANTER seed acceleration program run by its parent company, LIVERNESS CORPORATION. GLOCA-LINK will continue to find companies to support through TECH PLANTER, which will be held again this year.
