■Company Overview
ExtraBold aims to revolutionize the manufacturing industry by enabling low-cost, large-scale modeling using common resin pellets with its high-speed, ultra-large 3D printers.
One of the major challenges of conventional 3D printers (thermal-melt extrusion method), which are commonly used,
1) It takes time for modeling.
2) Small molding size
3) Materials are limited.
Focusing on these points, we have developed a proprietary 3D print head capable of ultra-high speed and large volume modeling, and the mass production prototype EXF-12 announced in May 2020 achieves a resin discharge volume of 15Kg per hour and a maximum size of 1700 x 1300 x 1020 mm, both large and high-speed modeling. It can use a wide variety of common resin pellet materials without filaments, enabling lower costs and the use of recycled materials.

■Purpose and Use of Funds
Extrabold is developing a new 3D print head that will further increase resin discharge volume and achieve stable modeling in collaboration with universities and research institutes in Singapore. With this financing, the company aims to complete the development of the new 3D print head and expand sales of its latest large-size 3D printer models.

Comments from investors
Hajime Yamaya, Growth Manager, Real Tech Fund
In today's society, where consumers and their needs are becoming increasingly diverse, there is a need to shift from conventional single-product, mass production to high-mix, small- and medium-volume production, and 3D printers are an important technology for achieving this. Conventional resin 3D printers, however, have not been able to achieve sufficient productivity to meet these needs. We will do our best to support the manufacturing industry by solving diverse manufacturing issues and updating the manufacturing industry with Extra Bold's large 3D printers and unique print heads.

Hitoshi Miyata, President, Mistletoe Japan, LLC
I remember as if it were yesterday how excited I was when President Hara told me about his concept for developing a super-large 3D printer several years ago.
Mistletoe Japan has supported EXTRABOLD since its inception, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to our strategic partners for their new support, which will further help us to realize a better world.

Shojiro Kobashi, President and Representative Director, Kobashi Kogyo Co.
Extra Bold's 3D printers can utilize recyclable materials and minimize waste plastics. We expect that this technology, which solves the environmental issues faced by conventional resin 3D printers, will make a significant contribution to sustainable manufacturing. The ability to produce large-size, high-speed models also makes it possible to streamline small-lot, multi-variety production, which has been difficult in the past, and to develop businesses that meet today's increasingly diverse needs. Based on our philosophy of "Cultivating the Earth," we aim to solve global issues, and we will support the company's innovative technology that will change the way manufacturing is done and contribute to the evolution of manufacturing.

Mr. Tatsuhiro Maeda, Representative Director, Maeda Giken Co.
Since its establishment in 1968, the Company has been manufacturing various molds and prototype parts for automobile manufacturers, and in 2018, it started a business incorporating FDM 3D printers.
We are very excited about this investment, as we believe it will provide us with a valuable opportunity to learn about the cutting-edge business of FFF 3D printers that can use resin pellets. We are very excited about this opportunity to grow together.

Mr. Satoshi Fujii, Investment Department 4, Mizuho Capital Co.
We are pleased to have the opportunity to invest in ExtraBold.
In the 3D printer market, which until now has mainly been dominated by small 3D printers, we believe that we are a company that can solve industry issues and meet new user needs with our unique technology.
We strongly expect that the members, led by President Hara, who has long been involved in the field of "digital x manufacturing," will work together to realize a new form of manufacturing, and the Mizuho Group will provide support in cooperation.

Kazuya Morita, Director GLOKA LINK Inc.
There is a growing need to shorten prototype and product lead times, and we expect that the company's proprietary 3D printer will provide a solution to this need. In addition, we believe that there is sufficient potential to expand into other areas, such as medical care, through research into materials for modeling. We will do our utmost to support the project, including collaboration with other COG resident companies under our management.
