Kibata Keiki Co., Ltd. was founded in 1909 (115th anniversary) as a pressure gauge specialist. In April 2018, Kibata Keiki Co., Ltd. established Garage Taisho, an innovation creation center in its factory to further accelerate collaboration among major companies, manufacturing companies, universities, medical institutions, and startups, and to provide manufacturing consultation and prototype development support. In April 2018, Kibata Keiki began operating Garage Taisho, a base for innovation creation within the company's own factory to further accelerate collaboration among major companies, manufacturing companies, universities, medical institutions, and start-ups, as well as to provide manufacturing consultation and prototype development support. Kohata Keiki's manufacturing support focuses on IoT-related technologies and medical device manufacturing and development. Glocalink provided full support to Garage Taisho even before it was established, and has continued to work closely with the company ever since.

Through its activities at Garage Taisho, Kihata Keiki has developed a product called "Salta®︎/Salta" that digitizes existing analog gauges for the inspection of gauges, which is still a labor-intensive task in plant maintenance where there is a serious shortage of manpower. It is an IoT sensor unit that can be easily retrofitted to existing analog gauges on site, enabling remote monitoring and efficient cyclical inspections. It is a low-power consumption model that requires no power supply or wiring work, and enables wireless data transmission of guidelines.

Kibata Keiki will utilize COG as one of the bases for demonstration and proof testing of Salta®︎ and newly developed products, and promote collaboration with business companies based on the measurement technology it has cultivated, leading to the development of new applications for Salta®︎ and new products and solutions (until September 30, 2025).

Glocalink will provide support to Kibata Keiki for development and implementation in a variety of ways, including assisting in the formulation of the plan, providing a site and other environmental arrangements, calling for cooperation in the demonstration, and providing feedback on the demonstration.

COG will collaborate with Garage Taisho and other organizations to build an environment for the implementation of manufacturing technologies and to create a place where technologies that will be implemented in society can be born from COG through collaboration among companies.
