Impact Startup Association and Shinjiro Koizumi and delegation visit Center of Garage to discuss support for impact startups that confront social issues.

September 22, 2024,GLOCALINK Inc.(headquartered in Sumida-ku, Tokyo; Yoshinobu Osaka, President; hereinafter "Glocalink") to Center of Garage (hereinafter "COG"),Impact Startup Association, Inc.Member companies, Mr. Shinjiro Koizumi (Member of the House of Representatives), Mr. Kentaro Asahi (Member of the House of Councillors), and Mr. Shinichiro Kawamatsu (Member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly) were invited to discuss the state of start-up support.

So far, GLOKA LINK and COG have produced many venture companies certified as J-Startup and J-Startup Impact through investment and nurturing for venture companies in the early stages of their establishment since 2015 and support through the operation of incubation facilities since 2018, We have contributed to the creation of impact startups.

We are pleased to announce that we are moving into COGaba Inc.and ... andEco-Pork Co.The Association is a general incorporated association to which the "Impact Startup Association" (hereinafter referred to as "the Association")* belongs.
The Impact Startup Association, established in October 2022, is an organization comprised of "impact startups" that bring positive impact to society by solving social issues and achieving sustainable growth. The scope of our activities is expanding. To promote the growth and expansion of impact startups, we aim to disseminate the impact economy, create opportunities for learning from each other, improve the investment environment, and collaborate with the government and administration.

The MISHOP secretariat arranged for eight companies, including aba and Eco-Pork, to introduce their activities and give demonstrations to Mr. Koizumi and others, and the activities and technologies of COG's venture companies were also introduced. The participants had a lively discussion about how the government should support impact startups.

Mr. Koizumi commented that a major difference between the U.S. and Japanese economies is the presence or absence of start-ups, and that it is important to support impact start-ups so that they can become engines of economic growth.
