Syncland Corporation is a venture company that creates Japan's first cutting-edge products by combining its own high-level "optical technology" and "electric signal technology" with the latest technology.
At the Biotech Grand Prix, we announced the commercialization of a microneedle for insulin injection used by diabetics.
Diabetes currently affects more than 400 million people worldwide. Of these, 10% require as many as five daily insulin injections.
In order to free diabetics from the pain and time constraints of insulin injections, Syncland Corporation is working with Chiba University to research, develop, and commercialize laser technology that enables microneedling by simply applying a special laser light source.
