A delegation of participants from the Japan-Germany Advanced Engineering Symposium (JAGFOE) visited the Center of Garage

GLOCALINK Inc.(Headquarters: Sumida Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoshinobu Osaka) operates the Center of Garage (hereinafter “COG”), one of Japan’s leading incubation facilities, and has been working to strengthen partnerships with incubators overseas. On November 28, 2025, a delegation of participants from the “2025 Japan-Germany Frontiers of Engineering Symposium (JAGFOE) Advanced Materials and Systems for a Sustainable Society,” organized primarily by the Engineering Academy of Japan (EAJ) and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH), visited the “Center of Garage (COG),” an incubation facility operated by Glocalink Co., Ltd.
On the day of the event, in addition to a brainstorming session involving all participants, startups based at COG—including Otonari Company, Inc., Xiberlinc, Inc., and cynaps, Inc.—gave presentations on their businesses and cutting-edge initiatives. The event also featured a panel discussion with sponsoring companies and a tour of the COG facilities.
It was a valuable opportunity for researchers, corporate representatives, and startup professionals from Japan and Germany to exchange views across disciplines and national borders, exploring ways to apply research findings to society and identify opportunities for new collaborative research.
